Built on Real Conversations About Money

We started cryvantisol because too many families were getting confusing advice about savings. The problem wasn't that people didn't want to save—they just needed someone to explain it without the jargon.

From Kitchen Table to Classroom

Started Small in 2018

The first year was just weekend workshops at community centres. We'd bring coffee and spend three hours walking through real household budgets. People appreciated the honesty—we never promised miracles, just practical ways to redirect money they were already spending.

Grew Through Word of Mouth

By 2020, we'd moved into proper classroom spaces. What surprised us most was how many attendees came because a friend recommended us. That told us we were doing something right—people trusted us enough to tell their mates about it.

Adapted During Disruption

When everything shifted online in 2020, we learned to make virtual sessions just as engaging. Some students actually preferred it—they could review recordings and work through exercises at their own pace. We kept the best of both approaches moving forward.

Looking Ahead to 2026

Next year we're launching longer-term programs that run over six months. The feedback we've heard is that people want ongoing support, not just a one-off workshop. We're ready to provide that.

What Guides Our Approach

These aren't corporate values we hung on a wall. They're principles that emerged from seven years of working directly with families trying to build financial security.

Transparent Numbers

We show you the calculations. No hidden formulas or proprietary systems. If you understand the math, you can apply it yourself—that's the whole point.

Realistic Goals

Every family's situation is different. We help you set targets that actually fit your income and expenses, not some idealised version that looks good on paper but falls apart in practice.

Ongoing Support

Financial planning isn't a one-time event. Our programs include follow-up sessions where students can ask questions as their circumstances change. That continued access makes a real difference.

Torben Lindqvist

Director of Learning Programs

Torben came to financial education after working in banking compliance for twelve years. He got tired of seeing customers struggle with products they didn't fully understand. At cryvantisol, he's built curriculum that focuses on comprehension first—if students grasp the underlying principles, they can adapt strategies to their own lives.

Before joining us in 2019, Torben ran volunteer financial literacy sessions at his local library. That grassroots experience shaped how he thinks about education—keep it practical, answer questions directly, and never assume everyone starts from the same knowledge base.
